The Embassy of Ecuador, together with Planeta Formación y Universidades, the higher education network of Grupo Planeta, presents the third edition of its scholarship program for Ecuadorian citizens residing in Spain.

This initiative aims to promote quality higher education among young people seeking professional development to generate positive progress in their communities.

The Ecuadorian ambassador, Wilma Andrade, highlights the impact of this initiative. “Following the vision of President Daniel Noboa, the ambassador states, we are driving this third edition of the Study Grants convinced that education transforms lives, expands access to employment opportunities, and contributes to improving the quality of life of our citizens residing in Spain.”

For his part, Carlos Giménez, CEO of Planeta Formación y Universidades, emphasizes the commitment “to develop and improve the competencies and skills of international talent, through the academic excellence that characterizes Planeta Formación y Universidades.”

In this third edition, the program will offer 204 study grants for Medium Degree Vocational Training programs, Higher Degree Vocational Training, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Continuing Education, and Doctorate, thus covering all levels of higher education.

The collaboration between the entities includes three types of study grants, from those covering 100% of the training, to the second type that covers 75% of the studies and the third type of grants, which amount to 50% of the cost of the training.

The call to access these grants will be open until July 13, 2026, and will be aimed at programs starting during the second semester of this year. Student registration can be done online through this link.

Those interested in the grant program must meet the requirements of the established legal bases.  In addition, selection will be based on the academic record and, in case of a tie, by order of registration.
