The Embassy of Venezuela made available yesterday to all Venezuelans residing in Spain a series of contact numbers and email for “any request for information about relatives and loved ones in the areas affected by the earthquakes,” as can be seen on its website.

Among those numbers, the Venezuelan Embassy has made available to the public the phone numbers of the Embassy itself (+34 915 981 200); the Consulate in Madrid (+34 650 817 137); the Consulate in Barcelona (+34 650 285 759); the Consulate in Bilbao (+34 639 154 752); the Consulate in Vigo (+34 672 353 744); and the Consulate in the Canary Islands (+34 608 670 628).

It has also announced the email address to which they can be directed in case of emergency: urgencia_embavenez_espana@hotmail.com

For its part, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in the last few hours the death of two Spanish citizens and increased to 80 the number of Spaniards who have not yet been located.

In statements distributed to the media during the stopover of the flight in which he accompanies the King of Spain to Mexico, Albares explained that his ministry is currently working on the preparation of a census to know the situation of the Spanish community in Venezuela, made up of about 150,000 people.
