“This approach,” said the ambassador, “is the result of joint work, constant dialogue, and a shared vision on numerous challenges and opportunities both within and outside the European Union. We have maintained an exceptional dynamic of mutual contacts and visits, among which I would like to highlight the successful visit of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, the esteemed Nataša Pirc Musar, last January, as well as the numerous visits from various delegations that have constituted a clear signal of the closeness between our countries and the shared commitment to continue deepening our bilateral relations at all levels and in all areas.”

The Slovenian ambassador also expressed his satisfaction by stating that “in 2025 we have maintained the positive trend in bilateral trade. This is a motivating evolution that reflects the growing strength of our economic ties. At the same time, I am convinced that there is still significant potential for improvement and expansion of our economic and commercial cooperation for the mutual benefit of our countries and societies. To advance this goal, it will also be essential to continue improving the connectivity between our two countries, thus facilitating contacts between our businesses, institutions, and citizens and creating new opportunities for an even more dynamic and fluid exchange.”
