The total number of seats planned on international flights to Spain for August 2026 will reach 14.1 million, according to data published yesterday by Turespaña. This represents an increase of 7.2% compared to the 13.1 million offered in the same month of the previous year.
The main issuing markets show a positive trend. The United Kingdom, for example, experiences an increase of 8.1%, while Italy leads with a notable increase of 10.9%. In contrast, France and Germany present more moderate growth, with an increase of 2.4% and 1.6%, respectively.
In the case of the Nordic countries, Denmark increases its seats by 1.7% and Sweden barely by 0.1%. However, Norway and Finland see a decrease in their planned seats, with drops of -2.8% and -5.6%, respectively. The accelerated growth of Poland stands out, exceeding 30%, and Turkey, which records a 22.9% year-on-year variation. Likewise, The United States shows an increase of 2.8%, although its growth has slowed down.
