Spain receives 11.1 million international passengers in June 2026

During this first semester, Spain accumulated 54.6 million international arrivals, which represents a growth of 5% compared to the same period in 2025

In June 2026, Spain received a total of 11.1 million international air passengers, representing a 4% increase compared to the same month of the previous year, according to data from Turespaña.

Of this flow, 87% came from Europe, with an increase of 4.4% compared to June 2025. However, passengers from Asia, who make up 2% of the total, experienced a decline of -5.3%.

During the first half of this year, Spain accumulated 54.6 million international arrivals, which represents a growth of 5% compared to the same period in 2025, that is, 2.6 million additional arrivals. Despite the positive trend, Germany recorded a decrease of -2.3% in its arrivals, while countries like Poland and Belgium showed a notable increase. On the other hand, the United States also presented a slowdown of 1.7%.

Among the main source markets, the United Kingdom remained at the top, with approximately 2.6 million passengers, representing 23.7% of the total arrivals. The Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands were the preferred destinations. In contrast, Germany recorded 1.4 million passengers, while France and Italy reported moderate increases. In terms of autonomous communities, the Balearic Islands received the highest number of passengers, followed by Catalonia and the Community of Madrid.
