The Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, closed last night the second edition of ‘Spain is (Much) More’, an innovative international initiative promoted by Turespaña in collaboration with Paradores. This program aims to present a diverse, sustainable, and genuine Spain on a global level.
During his speech, Hereu thanked the young content creators for their creativity, highlighting that digital talent is crucial for reinventing the way we explore the world and is fundamental for the future of tourism. From June 20 to June 26, thirty influencers from eighteen international markets simultaneously traveled various routes in Spain, enjoying national parks, local traditions, and unique gastronomic experiences.
The final event took place in Cardona, a prominent heritage destination in Catalonia, where participants shared their experiences and audiovisual content created during the week was showcased. This edition of ‘Spain is (Much) More’ aligns with the Spain Tourism Strategy 2030, seeking to diversify the international tourist offer and promote a more sustainable model that benefits local communities and highlights the cultural and natural wealth of the country.
