Last Monday, the ambassador of the Dominican Republic, Tony Raful Tejada, made an institutional visit to the Pozuelo de Alarcón campus in Madrid, of ESIC Business & Marketing School.

There, the Embassy of the Dominican Republic and ALEPH (Educational Institution specialized in leadership, political studies, and communication, based at the ESIC Business & Marketing School campus) signed a Framework Agreement and a Specific Agreement for Academic Collaboration. These agreements establish a new platform for academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation between the Dominican Republic and Spain.

As the first concrete result of this collaboration, 30 scholarships will be offered for Dominican students to pursue the Official Master’s in Marketing, Communication, and Political Consulting, with the possibility of obtaining a triple degree linked to ESIC Business & Marketing School, The George Washington University, and the Università degli Studi di Roma. The signing of both agreements concludes the efforts led by the Cooperation Section of the Embassy, headed by the counselor Antonio Castillo.

During the day, new collaboration opportunities were also explored in the areas of training, research, and academic exchange, consolidating an alliance aimed at expanding access for Dominican professionals to programs of excellence and further strengthening the ties between the Dominican Republic and Spain.
