The Embassy of Honduras and Formato Educativo Escuela de Negocios have signed a framework agreement for collaboration aimed at promoting access to higher education and professional specialization for Hondurans residing in Spain.
The agreement seeks to strengthen the academic and professional training of the Honduran diaspora through a broad program of international scholarships.
The signing of the agreement was carried out by the ambassador of Honduras, Marlón Brevé, and by Hugo Domínguez Rodenas, representing Formato Educativo Escuela de Negocios. Also present from the Embassy of Honduras was the minister counselor, Liza Medrano, and from Formato Educativo, Carlos Domínguez, academic director, and Carlos Benedito Ramos, director of International Relations and Communication.
The program includes the granting of 100 partial master’s scholarships, aimed exclusively at Honduran citizens residing in Spain.
The partial scholarships cover 77% of the total cost of the master’s program, allowing access to programs valued at €3,850 for a final contribution of €900. Additionally, students will be able to finance the remaining amount for up to 12 months without interest. The master’s programs will be conducted online and will last for one academic year, allowing students to balance their studies with their professional and family life.
Interested parties must meet the following requirements:
• Be a Honduran citizen residing in Spain.
• Hold a university degree or have professional experience related to the chosen field of study.
• Complete the registration and admission process at Formato Educativo Escuela de Negocios.
Beneficiaries will have access to more than 50 master’s programs distributed across 11 major areas of knowledge:

2. Marketing and Sales
3. Technologies and Digital Innovation
4. Political and Public Management
5. Trade and Business Management
6. Project, Quality and Environment Management
7. Construction Company Management
8. Energy and Sustainability
9. Emergencies and Risk Management
10. Trainer Training
11. Gender and Business
Among the specialties, areas such as Artificial Intelligence, International Relations, Big Data, Business Communication, Cybersecurity, Financial Management, Leadership, Public Management, Solar Energy or Emergency Management.
The master’s programs allow obtaining three degrees:
• Formato Educativo – Escuela de Negocios
• University of Vitoria-Gasteiz
• Harvard Business Impact
This agreement reinforces the commitment of both institutions to training, educational cooperation, and the professional development of the Honduran community in Spain, fostering new academic and labor opportunities for the diaspora.
