The Delicias Space in Madrid (Paseo de las Delicias, 61) hosts the exhibition The Empire Strikes Back, which showcases a selection of objects from the largest private collection of items from the Star Wars saga in the world.
The exhibition consists of photos, posters, costumes, figures, and models of various types and sizes, all official and acquired or created by fans for fans.
After invading cities like London, Los Angeles, Paris, Melbourne… the exhibition can now be enjoyed in Madrid. Inside, you will find: life-size recreations of iconic scenes from the movies, original costumes from the productions, detailed dioramas, sections dedicated to characters (from all generations) like Boba Fett, the Stormtroopers, the beloved Grogu (known to fans as Baby Yoda), the Mandalorians, or Darth Vader, hard-to-find action figures.
In addition, the exhibition has an interesting interactive aspect. Different areas allow visitors to engage with the saga in the first person, such as themed backgrounds (for taking souvenir photos); one where visitors can test their skills as a Jedi, young Padawan; or the opportunity to get close to models of iconic ships.
This exhibition marks the arrival in Madrid of one of the largest private collections on Star Wars that exists in the world. Delicias Space will be the landing site, a cultural, leisure, and entertainment venue that hosts immersive shows, as well as events and offers diverse gastronomic proposals.
All the information and how to buy tickets can be found on the website of the exhibition. May the Force be with the visitor!
