Last Monday, the Italian ambassador, Giuseppe Buccino Grimaldi, inaugurated together with the director of the Center for Political and Constitutional Studies (CEPC), Rosario García Mahamut, the event The constitutional future of Europe.
On the occasion of the presentation of the volumes Constitutionalism: intergenerational dialogues between Spain and Italy and The constitution in times of transitions, the Italian ambassador shared his experience in the Convention on the Future of Europe and in the subsequent Intergovernmental Conference that laid the foundations for the institutional reforms later incorporated into the Treaty of Lisbon.
The event brought together prominent jurists and academics from Italy and Spain to reflect on the future of European integration and the challenges of our time.
The Center for Political and Constitutional Studies (CEPC) is an autonomous body of Spain attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes. Its main mission is to promote research, analysis, and dissemination of the legal and socio-political reality both nationally and internationally, paying special attention to public law and social sciences.
