XXXII Music Festival at the Instituto Italiano de Cultura with Enrico Giaretta

The Instituto Italiano de Cultura in Madrid (Calle Mayor, 86) will celebrate its XXXII Music Festival next Sunday, June 21 at 8 PM with a tribute concert to Paolo Conte, performed by Enrico Giaretta.

Since 1985, European Year of Music, every summer solstice the Music Festival brings musical events and concerts to Europe and the world, conveying the universal message of culture, participation, integration, harmony, and transversality that music achieves thanks to performers, both professional and amateur. The title chosen for the 2026 edition is “The voice of places.”

Enrico Giaretta presents in absolute premiere the pieces from his new recording project, Note Azzurre: some of the most famous hits of Paolo Conte, performed for the first time live, as well as unpublished pieces composed by him. On stage with him is a band of absolute prestige: Marco Guidolotti, on saxophone and clarinet; Daniele Dall’Omo, on guitars; Jino Touche, on double bass, Alessandro Marzi, on drums.

Enrico Giaretta, known as “the Cantaviatore,” is a pianist, singer-songwriter, and airline pilot. Trained at the conservatory, he develops an international musical career that takes him to perform in Asia, America, Africa, and Australia, and to collaborate for a long time with Franco Califano. His music, often described as close to the tradition of Paolo Conte, combines authorial writing with an international flair. Global success comes with the reinterpretation of the song Tutta la vita in un momento, transformed by singer Matt Dusk into the hit Back in Town, which entered the charts of several countries. He has released albums with record labels such as Warner Music and Universal, and has collaborated with international artists like Tony Levin, Fabrizio Bosso, Pharrell Williams, and Jack Savoretti. In parallel to music, he is also a pilot of a Boeing 737-800, an activity that he integrates into his artistic identity. Free entry until full capacity.

Reservation is required at confirmaciones.iicmadrid@gmail.com, indicating the name, surname, and phone contact of all the people for whom the reservation is requested and in the subject “Festa della Musica.”
