The Ministry of Foreign Affairs celebrated International LGTBI+ Pride Day yesterday with a special lighting of the facades of its buildings and the display of rainbow flags in Marqués de Salamanca and Palacio de Santa Cruz.

The Ministry has recently incorporated the LGTBI+ perspective into several instruments of its foreign action, “such as the travel recommendations, which include specific information to contribute to a safer and more informed international mobility for this group,” this department informs in a press release.

For his part, Minister José Manuel Albares reaffirmed yesterday “Spain’s commitment to the defense and promotion of the rights of LGTBI+ people in the context of the celebration of International LGTBI+ Pride Day,” according to the website of his department.
