Next Wednesday, July 15 at 10:30 PM, the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid renews its collaboration with the Palacio Quintanar of Segovia as part of the sixth edition of the cycle «Garden of the Senses».
This prestigious program offers this year 39 concerts in the evocative Palace (calle San Agustín s/n, 40001 Segovia), a historic garden located at the foot of the San Sebastián church.
On this occasion, the Quartetto Goldberg, awarded the Abbiati Prize, will be the protagonist with the concert In the footsteps of the virtuoso, a musical journey dedicated to the evolution of instrumental virtuosity through works by Vivaldi, Haydn, Boccherini, Paganini, and Ysaÿe.
The Goldberg Quartet performs this program alongside its first violin, Jingzhi Zhang, distinguished in the 2023 Paganini International Violin Competition. His participation embodies the continuity of Paganini’s legacy, combining technical excellence, artistic sensitivity, and a contemporary conception of chamber music. Free entry until full capacity.
