The Embassy of the Republic of Korea has designed K-Map (Korea in Madrid), a map that allows for quick and easy consultation of information about around thirty Korean restaurants, cafes, cosmetic shops, and other establishments managed by Korean citizens in Madrid.
With the aim of promoting both Korean gastronomy and culture, the back of the map includes the Guide to the Flavors of Korea, which presents some of the most representative dishes and elements of Korean culinary culture, such as bibimbap, bulgogi, kimchi, gimbap, tteokbokki, chimaek, and makgeolli, thus facilitating a greater approach and understanding of Korean gastronomy for the Spanish public.
The Embassy will continue to collaborate closely with the Korean Association in Madrid and the Korean Restaurants Association of Madrid to keep the information included in K-Map updated, as well as to support the creation of K-Maps in other regions of Spain.
On the Google Map website, this K-Map can be consulted, which offers information and the physical location of a long list of Korean restaurants in the capital of Spain.
