“To foster a high-level dialogue space on the main challenges, advances, and opportunities in terms of governance and digital transformation of the public sector in Ibero-America” was the objective of the Conversatorio on Digital Government organized by the Ibero-American General Secretariat, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Spanish Ministry for Digital Transformation, with the participation of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic.
The delegation from the Dominican Republic reported through its social media that it was formed by Elvis Alexis Muñoz Peralta, Deputy Minister of Institutional Strengthening of the Ministry of Public Administration; and Rayson Lizardo, Director of Government Digital Transformation of the Government Office of Information and Communication Technologies (OGTIC); accompanied by Francisco Nuberg, specialist in State Modernization, representing the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in the Dominican Republic; and Diana Infante, Minister Counselor of the Dominican Embassy, representing Ambassador Tony Raful.
The meeting also reviewed the work done in preparation for the Digital Forum that will be held during the XXX Ibero-American Summit, which will take place in Madrid next November.
The session also included Óscar López, Spanish Minister for Digital Transformation; Andrés Allamand, Ibero-American Secretary General; and Anabel González, Vice President of Countries and Regional Integration of the Inter-American Development Bank.
