The General Consulate of Honduras in Valencia held an institutional meeting on August 20 with Stephane Soriano, director of Equality and Diversity of the Generalitat Valenciana, led by the head of the Consular Office, Daniela Asfura, and the vice-consul, Mirna Galeano.

The objective of this meeting was to continue strengthening the ties of collaboration and coordination for the benefit of the Honduran community residing in the Valencian Community.

According to reports from the Honduran Consulate, during the meeting, topics of special relevance for migrants were addressed again, including the Valencian Offices of Inclusion (OVI), located in Castellón, Valencia, and Alicante, which provide support and guidance to the migrant population.

Additionally, discussions were held about future projects and activities, including the celebration of Hispanic Day, as well as other initiatives of interest to continue generating spaces for integration, collaboration, and support for the Honduran community.

The General Consulate of Honduras reiterates “its commitment to continue strengthening ties with the institutions of the Generalitat Valenciana and working in a coordinated manner to ensure the well-being and interests of our compatriots.”
