Jornada ‘Túnez acelera: cómo posicionarte antes que el mercado’.

With an economy of approximately 50 billion dollars in GDP, the country acts as a gateway to the markets of the Maghreb, Africa, and the Middle East.

Next Tuesday, April 21, from 10 AM to 12 PM, the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of Madrid presents at the Palacio de Santoña (calle Huertas, 13) the event Tunisia accelerates: how to position yourself before the market.

Tunisia positions itself as one of the most dynamic destinations in North Africa for foreign investment and industrial cooperation with Europe. With an economy of approximately 50 billion dollars in GDP and a strategic location in the Mediterranean, the country acts as a gateway to the markets of the Maghreb, Africa, and the Middle East, in addition to maintaining a close economic integration with the European Union, which accounts for nearly 70% of its foreign trade.

In recent decades, Tunisia has developed a competitive industrial base oriented towards export, with more than 4,000 international companies established, many of which are integrated into European value chains in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, industrial components, pharmaceuticals, and agri-food.

The country also stands out for its commitment to energy transition and the green economy, with development programs in renewable energies, as well as its growing ecosystem of technological innovation and advanced services.

This event is aimed at Spanish companies interested in internationalization opportunities in Tunisia, especially in the sectors of agri-food, agricultural technology, automotive, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and renewable energies, among others, and how to take advantage of the benefits of Tunisia, thus paving the way for the Commercial Mission that this Chamber organizes to this market next September.

The speakers at this event will be Miguel Bufalá, International Coordinator · Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of Madrid; Tarek Chaabani, Plenipotentiary Minister, Head of Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Tunisian Embassy in Spain; Zied Lahbib, Director of FIPA-Tunisia for Spain and Portugal; Rafael González, CEO · Asicomex Global Partners SL; Sonia Kazdagli, Asicomex Global Partners SL · Tunisia Office; Muhammad Escudero, Director of the Certification Department · Halal Institute of Córdoba; Eduardo Piedrafita, Responsible for Tunisia and Branch Director of Barcelona · Aresbank, and Miguel Ángel Fajardo, Deputy General Directorate of Financial Instruments for Internationalization · Secretary of State for Commerce. Registration can be done at this link.
