Natural paths of Spain

With the aim of enriching the experience on the Network of Natural Paths, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Paradores de Turismo de España have implemented various actions aimed at the general public, so that those who travel the natural paths of Spain have new tools that facilitate the planning of their routes and the exploration of the heritage of the areas they traverse.

Among the first measures adopted, the signage of paradores near the paths is included, as well as their inclusion in the cartographic viewer and in the mobile application of the network. These paradores are marked as points of interest, providing descriptive information and images that facilitate visit planning. Additionally, the website of Caminos Naturales has added content about the paradores located on each itinerary, including a report with suggestions for enjoying the territory that combines nature, heritage, and accommodation in historic buildings.

The collaboration also extends to the III Photographic Contest of the Network of Natural Paths (which was open from March 2 to May 31 this year), where stays in paradores will be the main prize, contributing to the dissemination of images and the promotion of the most emblematic sites of these itineraries. With new initiatives planned for the second half of 2026, Paradores will begin to offer information about the natural paths near each establishment and exhibition spaces will be installed in some paradores to showcase the essences of the natural paths. Additionally, some paradores will become official points to stamp the Passport of Natural Paths and Greenways, allowing users to certify their routes.
