The Spanish Government, through the Delegated Government Commission for Economic Affairs (CDGAE), has decided to allocate a total of 3,788.25 million euros to several Autonomous Communities, with the aim of addressing the excess deficit of the year 2025.

This financing comes from the Financing Fund for Autonomous Communities and will be distributed under the concept of Extra FLA, specifically through the Tranche III Deficit.

The Autonomous Communities that will benefit from this allocation are the Valencian Community, which will receive 1,904.25 million euros, followed by Catalonia with 1,248.75 million, Region of Murcia with 526.5 million, Aragon with 87 million, and La Rioja with 21.75 million. This year, the Valencian Community is positioned as the most benefited, receiving more than 50% of the total allocation for 2026.

In addition, the Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the Autonomous Communities, highlighting that this financing is carried out under favorable financial conditions, which will facilitate liquidity and reduce costs for the affected regions. To date, more than 22,000 million euros have been allocated by the Financing Fund for Autonomous Communities for the year 2026, thus reinforcing the role of this mechanism in supporting the financial sustainability of the territories.
