In the framework of the Coffee Master Spain, organized by Casa de América and the Embassy of Colombia, next Monday, April 27 at 6 PM, there will be a Conversation and tasting of Colombian coffees.
This will be an experiential and competitive event around Colombian specialty coffee, which aims to create a space for dialogue, sensory experience, and reflection on coffee and cocoa from Colombia as cultural products and symbols of social transformation. It seeks to value these products as fruits of peace, resulting from sustainable, territorial, and human productive processes that have accompanied the construction of new economies in Colombia.
The meeting will address the pairing of coffee and cocoa through the presentation of signature drinks that invite you to enjoy a gastronomic and cultural experience. Through a culinary and pedagogical staging, the audience will be able to learn about their origins, stories, and a wide range of nuances and aromas.
After some welcoming words from Moisés Morera, director of Programming at Casa de América, the event will feature Edwin Rodríguez, chef of the restaurant QUIMBAYA, and Luciana Calle, expert pastry chef from the National Learning Service (SENA). The event will be moderated by María López Escorial, independent consultant specialized in social innovation. Free entry until capacity is reached.
