Spain expects more than 12.8 million seats on international flights in May

Projections indicate a positive trend in the main issuing markets, such as the United Kingdom, Italy, and France

According to data published by Turespaña, the total number of seats planned on international flights to Spain for May 2026 will reach 12.8 million. This figure represents a 7% increase compared to the previous year, when 12 million seats were offered.

Projections indicate a positive trend in the main source markets, such as the United Kingdom, Italy, and France, with increases of 7.7%, 7.3%, and 2.2% respectively. Germany also shows signs of recovery this month, increasing seat supply by 1.9%.

The Nordic countries, especially Denmark, show positive behavior, with a projected growth of 10.2%. Additionally, the Turkish market stands out with a remarkable growth of over 30%, while the Polish market exceeds 40%. In the Ibero-American sphere, Colombia and Mexico lead in scheduled capacities with increases of 4.2% and 9.6% respectively.
