After the success of its first edition in Europe, Expoartesano Madrid returns to the Spanish capital from June 25 to 28, consolidating itself as one of the main international showcases of Colombian craftsmanship in Spain.

Expoartesano  Madrid  2026  is  an  event  organized  by  Artesanías  de Colombia, an entity attached to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia and Plaza Mayor Medellín; with the support and backing of the Embassy of Colombia and ProColombia, with the purpose of continuing to strengthen the international promotion of Colombian craftsmanship, cultural diplomacy, and commercial opportunities for artisans and creative communities in the country.

In this second edition, Expoartesano Madrid 2026 will feature artisans who will travel directly from Colombia to share their ancestral knowledge live with the public. Visitors will be able to learn firsthand about traditional techniques, creation processes, materials, stories, and trades passed down from generation to generation.

This experience will bring the European public closer to the origin of each handcrafted piece, valuing not only the final product but also the knowledge, time, identity, and cultural memory behind each creation.

For four days, Madrid will once again become a meeting point between Colombia and Europe through craftsmanship, design, culture, and tradition. The fair will bring together pieces of decoration, fashion, accessories, jewelry, household items, and handmade products that reflect the cultural and creative diversity of Colombia.

Expoartesano Madrid 2026 aims to strengthen cultural and commercial relations between Spain and Colombia, generating visibility opportunities for artisans, as well as spaces for connection with buyers, institutions, media, designers, interior designers, concept stores, collectors, and the general public interested in authentic, sustainable products with history.

The presence of artisans live will allow attendees to experience a closer, educational, and emotional experience, discovering how the pieces are made, what techniques are used, and what significance each trade has within Colombian communities.

One of the main attractions of this new edition will be live demonstrations by Colombian artisans.
